  • Thank You - Teacher Appreciation Week
    Salem teachers thank parents, students, and Salem PTO for their kind actions during Teacher Appreciation Week. We were showered with delightful treats, personalized posters, thoughtful comments, and handwritten notes throughout the week. We truly appreciate all these things and the wonderful lunch we received on Friday. Salem parents and students are the best!

    Most of our students move on to Central High School. Many students have older brothers and sisters that are active there. Salem proudly shares performing arts events taking place at Central High School...
     
    • Spring Band Concert – Sunday, May 5th at 2:30 PM (A free event!)
    • After Dark - Central Swing Inc. - May 10th & 11th at 7 PM (admission fee)
    • Spring Choral Concert – Monday, May 20th at 7:00 PM (A free event!)
    • Spring Jazz Concert – Wednesday, May 22nd at 7:00 PM (A free event!)
    • Music on the Border – Sunday, June 30th at 7:00 PM (admission fee)

  • Reverse ABC Countdown
    We can do our ABCs in reverse! We are nearing the end of another great year. Once again, students are being rewarded with ABC theme days. There is a new twist this year... we are doing the ABC theme days in reverse order. We begin with Zebra Day on May 2nd and we end with Aloha Day on June, 7th.
