We are nearing the end of another great year. To celebrate, students and teachers are being rewarded with theme days. The last 26 days of school each have a theme based the letters of the alphabet. You may click here to view a copy of Salem's ABC Countdown.
Here are some pictures from a few of our theme days. On Double Play Day students enjoyed an outside "tailgate" lunch. On Hawaiian Day many students were dressed in colorful Hawaiian clothes.

Exciting things are happening in Salem’s art programs. On Tuesday, May 29 there will be a mural dedication ceremony at the Salem Town Hall Municipal Building. Salem’s fifth grade art classes have been collaborating on 4 individual murals to be permanently displayed in the Town Hall building. Also, a large scale stained glass project is nearly finished. An event celebrating its completion is scheduled for June 1st. Click here to visit Ms. Schatmeyer's art pages for details about these events.
