Every year in Mrs. McGrath's 4th grade class around the holidays, each student creates an acrostic poem for another student in class with kind adjectives to describe them! The best part is they keep it a secret! They had their big reveal on Wednesday, and it was so fun!😍

Salem families - please take a look at our lost and found video to see if you recognize any items that belong to your student! Each Friday a new video will be posted and shared. Items shown that week will be available for pickup in the main office the next Monday through Friday, and will then be put into storage. Parents can stop by to look if need be after that time. Ms. Simmons and her kindergarten students completed their Holidays around the World🌎 themed project today! Students "visited" seven countries and learned about the customs and traditions of each one. They completed an extension activity for each country and placed it in their "suitcase" as a souvenir. They made dreidels, nativities, St. Lucia crowns, tannenbaums, kinaras, dutch shoes, and poinsettias as souvenirs. They got a stamp from each country visited on their passports. They had a lot of fun on their travels!
Students in Mrs. Krolow's Underground Library Club had a great time at their holiday celebration last night! They used discarded books to create beautiful holiday shapes! 🎄🎁❄️
Today Salem School was lucky enough to be one of the stops on Westosha Central's Grade School Music Tour!🎵 Our 4th through 8th grade students got to attend a wonderful, festive performance by Central's Band and Show Choir! It was enjoyed by all! Check out our Instagram for videos!
