Announcements

We are now accepting sign ups for Boys Basketball and Cheerleading. Due to previous observation on the number of participants we are expecting, we will only allowing 6th-8th grades the opportunity to sign up for both Basketball & Cheerleading.

*Boys Basketball: PRACTICES BEGIN ON Monday, December 11th FROM 3:30 - 5:00*

*Cheerleading: PRACTICES BEGIN ON Monday, December 11th FROM 3:30- 5:00*

Please also ensure participants have a current standing physical, emergency contact card (RED CARD), and a concussion form turned in to Mr. Willkomm. There are NO EXCEPTIONS to having these forms turned in. If you have participated in a previous sport (THIS YEAR) and have turned these in, you will not need any more paper work.

Red cards, physical forms, and concussion forms can be picked up in the school office or downloaded and printed from the Salem School District athletics webpage under "Forms".

Please also note there is a required athlete fee payment in order for your child to continue participating as the season progresses. If not paid students will be excluded from practices and games.

Athletic Calendars

Athletic competitions (games and meets) will be posted within the school events calendar once they are available for posting. The comprehensive daily calendar which also includes practices is found here.

Forms

Additional Information

In order to try out for any athletic offering, all students must have a current sports physical, an emergency contact form, and a concussion form on file with the school. Links to these three forms can be found in the "Forms" section of this page.

*Please note that the 5th-grade physical that is on file with the school nurse is not a sports physical and does not meet the requirement for participation in athletics.

*There is a $35 fee for each sport that will be charged to the student account at the beginning of each season.
