Ms. Holm's first graders have been working on a plant unit in reading this month. Last Thursday they planted their bean and marigold seeds! They also read about plants that produce fruits and taste tested some of them! YUM!
Salem sixth graders created gift bags for children who are hospitalized as part of their community service work. The bags included a few small toys and handwritten notes for well wishes. The gift bags were distributed to local hospitals. ❤
Mrs. McGrath's fourth grade class participated in a fun activity during a break from Forward Testing last week! They worked in teams to see who could build the tallest tower!

Second grade students in Mrs. Velleux's class have been working hard on researching different jobs in our community! Each student chose three jobs to research, and then used the information that they found to narrow it down to a final topic of their choice.
