Mrs. Bruni's second grade class had a special mystery reader on Friday! 📚💙
The reader provided clues about herself to see if the students could guess who she was:
1. She is someone's grandma and she loves having sleepovers with her grandchildren.
2. She loves to swim and walk.
3. She always has chicken nuggets in her freezer.
🏓 Mrs. Ellis hosted an exciting round robin ping pong tournament as part of our 6th grade incentive! The students had a blast competing, showing off their skills, and cheering each other on. Great sportsmanship and fun all around! 🎉

Salem School National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) members have been helping out their community beginning this summer. Our middle school students have been volunteering at a variety of locations. They have volunteered at Lakeland Little League, Barneys Book Bank, Westosha Senior Center, VBS Westosha Lakes Church, The Sharing Center, Feed My Starving Children, Westosha Youth Football, Salem Community Library, and the Wagner Family Fire Fund, just to name a few! NJHS would like to give shoutouts to eighth grader Madalynn Pahl for 37 hours of community service and seventh grader Aida MacDougall for 25 hours of service to the community!
Our NJHS students are making an impact in our community!
🖼️ Ms. Stalker’s 5th grade students teamed up for an exciting mystery grid art project! Each student was given a square to recreate, and when they put all their pieces together, they revealed a beautiful final masterpiece. What a great collaboration and creative effort! 🎨
