Students in Ms. Reese-Brown's 6th grade Social Studies class took a hands on approach to recreating the physical geography of Ancient Egypt and Kush. Using those features, students chose where best to settle, considering environmental factors of the area.

This morning we hosted our Annual Veterans Day Assembly here at Salem School. It was an incredible honor to have so many local Veterans join us to celebrate Veterans Day, and to share with our Salem students the importance of this day and those we are celebrating. Our celebration today included music from our band and choir, a poem recited by four of our Falcon 4th graders, Veteran Guest Speaker Mr. Zach Paul, handmade Thank You cards, and a reception with treats for our Veterans and their guests following the assembly!
