I joined the PTO when we moved to the area in 2018 as a way to become involved and learn more about the school…meeting some amazing people along the way has been a great added benefit! I’ve been on the board as Treasurer since 2021. My husband and I have two kids at Salem, they will be in 8th and 6th grades this coming year, and a Junior at Central. I love volunteering at the school and helping organize the amazing events the PTO hosts throughout the year. Outside of the school, we can usually be found at softball, horse shows, 4-H, boating, or other outdoor activities!" My son will be in 7th grade this fall and my other son will be a Freshman at Central. I joined the PTO when my now Freshman was in Kindergarten. I wanted to become as involved as I could for both my boys. And that is exactly what I did. I have dedicated myself to my kids school. Salem School has, and will continue to be, our home away from home. That being said, when I’m not at the school volunteering we enjoy being outside.
