🌟 Please help us welcome Ben Warmuth to the Falcon Family! "My name is Ben Warmuth, and I am incredibly excited to be the new band director here at Salem! I taught band, general music, and choir at Brighton and Paris schools for the last 17 years. I also play trumpet and French horn one weekend a month and two weeks in summer with the 132D Army Band, part of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. When I'm not teaching or playing music you might find me biking around the area, swimming at the beach, having a cone at Culver's with my 3 children, or in line for a roller coaster at Great America. One of my hobbies is building xylophones that we use in the classroom sometimes. I'm most excited about finding opportunities for the Salem band to be active performing in the school and the community. "

🌟 Please help us welcome Jim Jensen to the Falcon Family. He is joining us as Salem's new School Psychologist! "Hello Salem staff and families. I would like to take this opportunity to let you know how excited I am to begin this journey with you. I am deeply devoted to working with all ages of students and assisting them in acquiring the tools required to reach their fullest potential. I am coming to Salem after spending the last 12 years working as a Special Education Teacher in New Berlin, working with students from 7th thru 12th grade. Previous to that I was working in various capacities( ie- youth counselor, youth mentor, special ed teacher and social skills group facilitator) at a residential treatment center for adjudicated youth in Dousman. I also spent last year doing my practicum in New Berlin at Poplar Creek Elementary. I thoroughly enjoyed this change of pace and wanted to continue to explore the opportunities available to me in working with this age group. I am very grateful to the District of Salem for providing me this opportunity and I can't wait to join the Falcon Family. Please feel free to reach out at any time with any concerns you would like to discuss. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you!"

🌟Please help us welcome Samantha Platz to our Falcon Family! She will be joining us as one of our Speech Language Pathologists! "My name is Samantha Platz, and I am very excited to be joining the Falcon Family as one of your new Speech Language Pathologists. I was born and raised in Kenosha/Pleasant Prairie and am a proud graduate of Tremper High School. My time as a student-athlete at Tremper led to playing collegiate volleyball at both Northern Michigan University and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Following the completion of my B.A., I pursued an enriching graduate program at the University of Northern Colorado. Wisconsin called me back home, and it’s here that I’ve built a life with my loving husband and our two wonderful daughters, Savanna and Vivienne. When I’m not immersed in the world of speech pathology, you’ll find me cherishing family moments, playing volleyball or getting lost in a good book. With 13 years of diverse experience as an SLP—spanning Illinois and Wisconsin school districts, private clinics, in-home therapy, Early Intervention, and hospital settings—I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of speech. Observing my students’ progress and celebrating their achievements is what truly ignites my passion and dedication to making a positive impact in their academic and personal journeys. I’m excited to embark on this next chapter with you all while continuing to make a difference in the lives of our students!"
